Hotmail/Yahoo - issues with not arriving emails
« on: December 02, 2007, 08:53:47 pm »
Ok, to clear some things up:

Yahoo does (on some of their mail servers, not all) block our domain completely from sending mail to their accounts. I mailed Yahoo on that and I hope it will clear up soon.

Hotmail does accept the message, saying "queued for delivery" but people say no mail arrives. I mailed MSn and Hotmail about that.

So except for Yahoo, where mails will be tried for a few days to be resent Hotmail should work once they accept the mails. I think some webadministrator needs to say "ok" to our domain.

I ask you to wait for 1-2 days, we are having a weekend and I guess the administrators there are not at work.

Thanks so far.

Statement Hotmail ^^

I got a mail back (would copy it in, but it's German -_- though I asked in English)

Basically it said: comply to our policies and fight-spam programs, and we will send your mail.

I found it funny, because the registration mail for their OWN program went into MY spam folder ;) saying it had several issues about not giving out info where it came from and whatnot.

The mail they sent did state "please ask us again if there is anything..." but sadly you cannot reply to that email ^^ has no valid address in there...

So I filled out a request form again. And I am getting angry.

I hereby ask all hotmail users to directly contact their support, saying "I requested mail from legendofbleach.com, why can't I receive any? They said the mail was sent out and you accepted the delivery. Where is it?"

^^ well, I had first to register (!) there to get my stats... nice. with windows live id...
then I saw they said all my mails are spam... interesting though.
