it would stop the massive clan spam ( only 13 ppl )
& just have high rank shinigami join
(also we could have wars between the 13 for the best swuad )

if you want to avoid clan spam then kick the person out and it's spelled squad

What about clans that don't want to be part of these squads? Like Espada and any "Rogue Shingami"? I disagree with this idea completely...

squads have hundreds in them to let you know and what if not everyone wants to join a squad?

Well.....It would eliminate the insurgence of many clans into LoB.  There's pro's and con's to it also:

Pro's:
1. Eliminates too many clans
2. Squad wars would be easier to manufacture (although it's still a waste in my opinion).
3. Since everyone is a shingami, the only choices are to either join a squad or not join one at all and consider yourself a rouge shingami (free agent/lone wolf). 
4. Since arrancars and vizards won't be implemented for a long time, the most important thing is to build your skills as an shingami and represent your squad with your abilities.

Con's:
1. There's already been a discussion of how much clans will cost (ie, 100 gems) which will limit clans.
2. Is is fair to truly limit the number of clans?  I mean is 20 too many? Say we have 13 and someone wants to form a clan called Bounts, should he/she be denied?
3. As with Shinobi Legends, you may have a founder of a squad that wants to promote their friends or loyal/trusted backers to higher positions instead of the second most powerful (which brings up issues with clan destroyers, which no one wants to discuss cause it's a pain.)
4. It limits creativity, I agree that SL has a vast amount of clans, but some of the clans with the most members are not Naruto-based clans.  The founder creatively came up with a name and people joined, limiting the clans to only squads would limit creativity and everyone would want to be leader of a few selected squads.

I can guarantee you, that not the wisest and most respected will there be.

Instead, I see big ones pushing around small ones. As they have no alternative.

Things that come to mind:

1) Mods (although 13 of em sheesh)
2) NPCs (no idea hoe that'd work)
3) Neji can pick the captains (little like the mod idea)
4) Neji can be the Commander-General a.k.a. the 1st squad captain who is in charge of the rest of the squads but is still equal. (again more work for Neji. sorry >.< )

That all i can think of right now anyways. I'll see if I can come up with something better later after i've thought a while.

i say we just stick with how neji has it right now, if people wanna clan spam and waste 100 gems on each clan, i say let them, if you think its hard to find the clans your looking for in the clan hall, you dont know how to use the find function on the computer.  its because of this sort of thing that it was added as a basic feature for all comps

i don't really agree with limiting the number of clans, and the huge number of clans isn't my worst fear. but i'll admit there might be a problem. in naruto's server we didn't have that problem, but on a bleach based RP game, how will we handle things like:

list clans
------------
<squad 11>
<squad eleven>
<11th squad>
<squad number eleven>
<kenpachi's squad 11>
<super squad 11>
<the real 11th squad>
<SqUaD 11>
....etc

all I know is that this just sounds like a way to keep people from what they want. by only having 13, pre-set squads, you dont really get much choice in the matter. and I STILL say that 100 gems is too high. It was stated in another topic that by now, we'd have clans, but I dont see any, and my clan (a fair sized one I might add) on SL is ready to move into LoB

I'm personally ok with there being no clans for a while, there's almost one clan per person in SL
i could ramblea bout squads but i'll save that for another post
