ranks

The ranks are too limited.
I beilve there should be more than: Newbie, Jr. Member, Full Member, Senior Member, and Hero Member.

Remember..the search option is your friend xD.

I agree with you, but new ranks don't pop out of thin air. Someone needs to create them, and then it will be debated over.

I support the abolition of ranks.

And why is that?

After I think about it, ranks do put you into a category, and ranks divide you up amongst the other people.

Is that what you are trying to say?

on the other hand, ranks create a sense of order. Most of the time, Senior and Hero members can be a little more reliable than newbies, and sometimes Jrs.

Some members are spammers, some members have useless posts, and some members' posts are just not helpful.

How can you really tell besides looking at the forum bio or looking at how they generally post.

Even without ranks all of this, spamming, useless posts, etc...will occur.

I care about the quality of my posts.

true, but exp. does make an important factor. and older player will know more, and thus be LESS liekely to accidently spam or get a topic locked

You are right, and I am right as well.

You have good points.

Offtopic but, I would like the smite option to be turned off if possible. I have an opinion about that, which I will make a new topic about and not waste your time posting stuff about that here xD.

another positive thing for the ranks is, it gives people a sense of pride

*looks at your post count* You never spam, eh? -_-

And the main reason I support getting rid of them is because they do generate a lot of spam. Now if ranks pretained to the length of time you were active AND post count, it'd make much more sense, but still, there would be spam.

Is there even away for the ranks to be organized in that way?

And thank you Baluski =)
