thats a bad idea.. someone could leave their computer on this screen... and then it would count... BAD IDEA

Wrong. Take a look at the stats needed to rank up on the Adult Swim forums and maybe you'll catch my drift. ;) I Know this is only possible with certain forums, but it's one of the best ways I've seen of ranking. Yea you can make it so posts in certain areas dont count so only posts in serious areas would count

Thats how must forums I go on work and then to be mod its always 18 and older which i hated, one website when I turned 18 they made me mod right away after i passed there test, and then owners said mods were all bad and deleted all are accounts

I like the current ranks, and I agree that the posts in certain areas should not count.
but the bad thing is  that if those areas didn't count then people could do more spam in important areas and topics.

I support this idea.

Further spamming should result to banishment.  ;)

i would only lose300 posts if those were ignored but i think the real problem here is

why do people care aout post amount and karma

its not that important since ainly mods only have more + then -
