A few questions about specialties
« on: March 28, 2008, 01:27:48 pm »
IŽd like to know a few things about the specialties available so far. Here are my questions:

1. How many specialties are there right now ?
2. Were Zanjutsu (swordfighting) and hakudo (hand to hand) implemented yet ?
3. If they were, what stats do I need to become able to use them ?
4. Are there any specialties that are available exclusively for characters with certain alignment ?

So yeah, those are the things iŽd really like to know. i hope that somebody here will be able to provide me as well as everybody else who reads this with answers. ^^

I'll see what I can do.

My brain is basically active, but I have no time to code meanwhile.

Also, it is intended to solve that with your zanpakutou where you should rely on like all shinigami do.

Yeah, but instead on relying on your Zanpakutou the current system makes you rely on kidou if you really need to do some damage, which doesnŽt seem right for characters who donŽt think highly of kidou, like mine.

wait for shikai to come out.

shinigami with weak zanpakutou do *in fact* rely on kidou

Well, most of them, but some actually try to make up for it by improving their swordsmanship. Having to rely on Kidou instead of your swordfighting (or hand to hand fighting, for that matter) abilities just doesnŽt seem right if you (like me) want want a character that can succesfully defeat powerful opponents without using kidou.
