Armor types

I thought that maybe armor after Shinigami Clothes would be a good idea, like for example once you get to Fukutaicho you get a Lieutenant's Emblem and when you get to Taicho a Captain's Cloak. Also I was wondering if it could actually have defense count like +4 or something instead of just a name with no effects like the Shinigami Clothes.

You mean like something in shinobi legends ? Well if you don't and never played it neji did it this way on purpose to make it different. Most shinigami have just robes. You just really train your defence Ex: putting on a different piece of clothing won't make you stronger. Where as in naruto, you can actually have armour.

I think he means renaming the armor once you've reached that ranking, which is fine by me.

I never have seen any shinigami in the anime/manga wearing something differently

Well, could we at least get the name changed to Shihakusho? >> That is the proper name for them.

I am not certain as for I  think a more general "clothes" term is better, fitting the multiple outfits.

You can make it configurable, though.

that sounds like a good idea to me, except nobody would be able to see your custom armor, now if it was shown on the bio page along with the name of your weapon when shikai is done that would be awesome

Daghan, people can go to a certain place to see people's stats (HP, attack, defense) along with armor and weapon names. .-.;

You can now buy nameable armor at Urahara's ... that should solve the issue.
