will the 13 squads affect the game, or will they only exist as clans in sl? (wich are just roleplay)

I wonder if i'd be like the series, how you either have to do the hard way of achieving bankai and having 2 captains recommend you (think thats right), or the easy way and killing the current captain, The killing the current captain and tking his spot sounds fun
